The City of Armstrong is surrounded by the rural Township of Spallumcheen, approximately 20 Minutes from Vernon, British Columbia. The Township was named after the First Nations word meaning "Beautiful Valley" or "Flat Meadow" and "Meeting of the Waters".

The township's 22,000 hectares of farmland has given us a rich farming heritage which is complimented by our railroading history.

There is a lot to explore in the our peaceful, country atmosphere, including many lakes, trails and other attractions, such as the Village Cheese Co., O'Keefe Ranch, the Caravan Theatre and the Royal York Golf Course.

Schubert Estates brings you a quiet relaxed country atmosphere, with deer grazing in the fields, where you can really unwind and within 3 minutes you can be in downtown Armstrong experiencing its unique shops, stores, and restaurants and in 5 minutes you can be playing golf at Royal York or taking in the summer and winter productions at the Caravan Farm Theatre. For a short 10 minute drive, you can take a trip down memory lane at Western Canada's only drive in theatre.

Also the 3 to 4 productions a year put on by the Asparagus Theatre have been known to provide some good times.

There is always something going on including the annual Interior Provincial Exhibition (IPE), weekly farmers markets, Christmas lightup, pumpkin fest and more...
